If you've ever sat down to build out a content calendar and thought "there has to be a faster way", you're right. One of the most requested features we've shipped at Opinly is batch content production, and it's fundamentally changed how our users approach SEO blogging at scale.
Here's what it is, why it matters, and exactly how it works.
The Problem With Creating Posts One at a Time
AI-powered blog generation is already a massive time saver. But without batch production, the workflow still has friction built into every step: pick a keyword, configure your settings, wait for generation, review, repeat. If you're trying to publish 20 posts across five topic clusters this month, that's 20 separate trips through the same flow.
For solo founders and lean marketing teams, the kind of people building SEO moats on a budget, that repetition adds up fast. It's not the generation that slows you down, it's the configuration overhead.
Batch content production removes that overhead entirely.
What Batch Production Actually Lets You Do
In a single workflow, Opinly users can now create up to 25 blog posts, configure each one individually, schedule their publish dates, and hand the whole thing off to the generation engine in one shot.
The use cases we see most often:
Content calendars. Plan an entire week or month of posts in one session. Set scheduled publish dates across your batch so your blog stays consistently active without you having to log back in every day.
SEO scaling. Fill coverage gaps fast. If you've got ten keyword opportunities across three topic clusters and two locations, you can generate targeted posts for all of them before lunch.
Efficiency at every level. Language, location, image generation, generation mode. Configure it all once per keyword instead of re-entering the same preferences two dozen times.
How It Works: A 4-Step Wizard
We designed batch production as a guided four-step process. Each step is scoped tightly so you're never making decisions you don't need to make yet.
Step 1: Configure the Batch
Start with the big picture. Set how many posts you want (anywhere from 1 to 25), choose your language and geographic location, and define a date range for scheduling. Opinly pulls in your existing content clusters at this stage to scope the keyword suggestions you'll see in the next step.
Step 2: Select Your Keywords
The AI generates a pool of keyword suggestions, double the number of posts you requested, so you always have real choices rather than being forced to accept whatever comes first. Keywords are distributed across your content clusters and locations for balanced coverage.
From here, it's point and click. Select the keywords you want, skip the ones you don't. Any keyword you reject gets blacklisted so it won't resurface in future batches. If a suggestion isn't quite right, you can refresh it individually to pull in a replacement without regenerating the whole list.
Step 3: Configure Each Keyword
This is where batch production earns its depth. For each selected keyword, you set:
- Generation mode. Generate Outline runs asynchronously in the background, lighter and great for high volumes, while Generate Full Post produces the complete article immediately.
- Image count. 0 to 3 AI-generated images per post, depending on how visual you want the content.
- Scheduled date and time. Full timezone support, so your publish schedule is accurate regardless of where you or your readers are.
- Considerations. Optional freeform instructions to guide the AI for that specific post. Useful for tone, angle, or anything topic-specific you want the content to reflect.
A real-time cost breakdown updates as you configure, showing exactly what's covered under your plan tier and what will draw from your credit balance. No surprises at checkout.
Step 4: Processing
Hit go. The system creates all posts simultaneously, deducts any applicable credits, and reports back on results. Outline mode posts fire off async generation events; full mode posts generate right away. If any individual keyword fails, it's flagged without blocking the rest of the batch, so a single hiccup doesn't derail twenty other posts.
Why This Changes the SEO Game
The compounding effect of consistent, keyword-targeted content is well understood in SEO, but the execution bottleneck has always been production volume. Tools that generate one post at a time don't actually solve the throughput problem; they just speed up one step of a slow process.
Batch production collapses the entire workflow. The decisions you used to make twenty times in a row, you now make once for global settings or quickly in sequence for per-keyword configuration. The cognitive load drops, the output increases, and your content calendar stops feeling like a treadmill.
For Opinly users who are actively tracking competitors' SEO strategies and identifying keyword gaps, batch production is what turns that intelligence into published content at the speed it's meant to be acted on.
Get Started
Batch content production is available now from your Opinly dashboard under Content > Batch Generate. If you're on a plan with a monthly blog allowance, most or all of your batch will be covered automatically. The cost breakdown in Step 3 will show you exactly where you stand before you commit.
